A pipe inspection allows you to have a complete diagnosis of your network and thus target the sections that require special attention. Our teams are trained and certified by CERIU/NASSCO according to PACP/MACP standards in order to analyze your pipes and produce a report. This report will make it easier for you to release the funds required to do the repairs if needed. Whatever your needs, we will be able to inspect your pipes and provide you with an accurate diagnosis.

Inspection types

Pipes inspection

We use different equipment to do the inspection depending on the diameter of the network and the type of inspection desired (CCTV or ZOOM).
Push-Cam (drain camera): Pipes from 75mm to 200mm
Towed camera: Pipes from 200mm up to 1500mm
Telephoto camera: Allows you to have an overview of the pipe in order to determine if work is required.

Manhole inspection

With the use of a 360 camera rather than the usual telephoto lens, we are able to provide superior quality video for analysis and our field performance is greatly increased. This technology allows us to provide this service at a competitive price!

Pipe ovalisation check

With a camera, it is possible to perform an ovality test for "flexible" type pipes. At ICR, we offer two types of tests. The profilometer test which is a laser test in which we use very high quality equipment to obtain very precise data. The test with contact points uses “physical” type equipment, which is therefore less precise than the profilometer. We will advise you on the type of test required if needed.

Pipe surveying

ICR Expert uses radiodetection tools to locate all of our equipment during inspection. In addition, using a wave transmitter, we can locate water supply networks and several underground infrastructures. Ideal for network tracing and underground location of all types especially in urban areas.

Our reports are analyzed internally and double-checked during correction. They are all signed by our analyst as well as our chief analyst and deputy director.

If necessary, an engineer who is a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) can also certify our reports.

It is also possible to provide recommendations for structural/operational defects.
